Peach Days!

The Famous Peach Days happened over a month ago, but I just barely put the pictures on the computer. I had no idea how good they had turned out. J/K. We had a fun evening watching a parade, eating dinner, going on some rides, and eating delicious peach cobbler. (The peaches here have been delicious!) The pictures tell a thousand words how much fun we had.

This was Ella and Christian's first time on a ride like this. Don't they look like they are having fun?
The idiots working the ride decided to wait until every last seat was filled before they started it. This gave Ella a bit too much time to think about what she was doing. She started crying right when the ride started. The tears didn't last long, but she was in no mood for smiles. The pleasant life of three year olds.
Christian was so excited about his awesome lightning bolt that he was in tears.
Ella was also very thrilled about her flower. They were not at all happy when they realized what was put on their faces.
Austin ran in the Peach Days 10k race the next day. He hadn't trained at all, but still managed to get 4th in his age group. Now why can't I be like that? We were very proud of him and his awesome medal!
In the end I think we all had fun at Peach Days. It is the most excitement that our town sees all year!

I always get so excited to take my kids to things like that thinking that they'll love it. And then they don't. Frustrating! But I really enjoyed reading your re-cap. Very funny!

The kids looked like they were having a blast! Way to go, Austin! There is no way I could run a 10k without some serious training!
