I have lost interest with the whole blogging thing lately. I think the main issue is that I have been busy with so much else that blogging truly is at the bottom of the list. For the last six months our yard has consumed our lives and our time. I absolutely love the summer, but I am almost excited to see it leave. That means no more yard work! Our neighbors will understand my excitement because we are outside working in it ALL of the time. I told Austin that I am done with yard work until next year even though there is always still plenty to do and the weather still permits. We have made a lot of progress and I can happily say the the bulk of it is done!
Another thing that has kept me very busy is getting my two very stubborn kiddies to go on the potty. It took a very long time and I now hate potties with a passion, but I am happy to say that they are both doing well and accidents are a thing of the past. Never ask me for advice though because I truly suck at it. In the end the deciding factor is whether your child WANTS to be potty trained or not. Period.
In addition to potties and yard work I have started working again. I work as an RN in Layton on the Surgical floor. I have worked there for almost 2 months now, but am just now finding time to blog about it. It is going really well. My boss is extremely flexible and I only have to work 1-2 days per week. I do the evening shift so Ella and Christian get to spend the majority of the time home with their daddy. It works out well and I am keeping my nursing license current, so the state and I are happy.
After having a very busy summer we are looking forward to our lives calming down a bit and not having quite so much on our to do list. I will still probably be an infrequent blogger though. Some things you can't change.

How exciting to go back to work! And even more exciting that your kids are potty trained! It's ok that you don't blog often, but I love reading it when you do!
Woah- potty training, yard work, and scrubs, you've had a busy summer! I always loved hearing about your nursing stories (leeches, oozing butts, etc) so I'm glad that you will have some fresh ones to share. :)
I've been feeling like I should call you-even though it hasn't been that long since we did talk, but then I saw that you said you were going to a BYU game soon-which one? I am going to be in town the end of October and I am going to the UNLV game-it would be fun if it was the same one!
Your yard is looking awesome...all your hard work has paid off! It gets better, but I know how you feel! If we ever buy again, Jeff says it will be an existing! Way to go Christian! I miss you guys! I feel like I haven't seen you in forever!
Well good job on everything! I should have told you when I came to your house but I honestly thought as I walked up to your front door how cute it was. Especially the flowers and plants by the front door. You being excited winter is coming is great. I needed one thing to put on the pro column because the cons are way out of control!
