Busy December

December was a very busy month for us. We were able to do a lot of fun things, but we are excited for a much quieter January. Here are a few things that kept us busy.
Just a few days before Christmas we took a quick trip with Austin's family to Wisconsin. Austin's extended family lives there and it was nice to spend some time with them since we hardly ever see them. It was somewhat exhausting flying all the way there for just a few days, but Ella and Christian did excellent on the plane. We were very happy to leave the -30 windchill! It was bitter! We couldn't wait to get back to our warm Utah!Ella and Christian were so thrilled to see Santa that they could not get close enough to him. In their defense, he was kind of a creepy Santa.
We found a great sledding hill nearby that the kids can't get enough of. So cute and fun!
Ella preferred to go down the hill with me while doing a bear hug. She didn't like the snow in her face.
Austin decided he missed his Air Force days and suited back up just for old times sake. I guess it is time to buy him some real snow clothes, so that he doesn't look quite so military like.
Ella and Christian were so excited for Christmas this year! They loved every single thing that they got. It made it so much fun and so special. We love having them in our family so much and I can't even imagine how boring life would be without them.
We finally got to see wear Austin works. They did a test launch of the rocket he is working on and we got to go and watch. Normally visitors aren't really welcome out there and he really does work in the middle of nowhere. That is why it only took us a whole year to visit for the first time.
The best part of the whole month was when Austin finally finished his classes and had some extra time for me and the kids. We are so proud of him and how hard he works, but we will be so glad when he finishes his Masters of Engineering in August. But, of course the fun never ends because after that he has to finish his MBA. It is a challenge, but I appreciate how motivated he is. We love him so much!

FYI- My brother told me that it was obnoxious and not worth the effort to type in a password to view our blog. I thought that if my own brother doesn't even want to type in a password then no one else probably does either. I am going to unblock the blog for a while and see how it goes.

I don't mind typing in a password. but whatever. I can't believe you flew with your kids during the holidays! You are brave! Our old roomie Rachel found me on facebook-she has a blog too .You'll have to check it out-there is a link on my blog to hers. I bet she would love to hear fom you. Did you guys find out what sex your baby is? Or are you one of the people who wants a surprise? I guess you are already prepared for a boy or girl either way, so it doesn't really matter huh?

You can increase your security level without having a password under Basic Settings by removing your blog from their listing and from search engines, if you haven't done that already.

The Christmas pictures are so cute. Especially the sledding ones! Looks like fun!

I don't mind typing in your password, but I do hate that blogger won't let 'private' blogs show when they have updated. I am getting better at remembering to look though. Love the cute pictures! We tried to take Brynner sledding (we have some fantastic hills right by our house!) but he was beyond terrified so I don't think we'll try again this year. So when is this Fondue shin dig gonna happen?
