Easter Eggs

We thought it would be fun to let the kiddies dye some Easter eggs. What were we thinking letting two year olds get a hold of dye? They had a lot of fun, but it was scary at times. They kept dropping the eggs and they would roll onto the floor and break. Thank heavens they were hard boiled! They also kept spilling the dye. We had a lot of broken eggs and we had quite a mess to clean up, but it was all worth it because Ella and Christian had a lot of fun and they loved eating the eggs afterwards.
Christian chose the green and blue dye

And Ella stuck to the orange, red, and yellow dyePure Joy!
Thank heavens daddy was home to help supervise!

Looks like a lot of fun, but now I'm having second thoughts about our plans to do the same thing!

I was wondering why in the first few pictures there were no aprons or bibs. It looks like you wised up a little further into the project. So fun, though. We are going to wait until Saturday to color our eggs, or the kids will be asking about the Easter Bunny everyday until he comes.

Hmmm... I was feeling guilty at first for not planning egg dying, but then I think about myself and I might just see the mess they made and opt not to clean it up. Do they make easter egg dying video games? Just kidding.
